Shorne Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (Maternity Cover) to work as part of our caring and nurturing team and foster a love of learning for all. 

This role is 25 hours per week (5 days), term-time only.

The successful candidate will: 

  • Be caring, committed and an excellent role model.
  • Be committed to high standards.
  • Have attained a good standard of general education (at least NVQ level 2 or equivalent) and be able to model good mathematics and literacy skills.
  • Have previous experience of working with children.
  • Have knowledge of policies and procedures relating to safeguarding and child protection. 
  • Have the commitment to value our children and celebrate their achievement
