Intervention & Curriculum Mentor

Salary: KR5 - £20,595 (Full time equivalent) - £14,141 (pro rata)

30 hrs per week Term Time only plus 2 inset days

Required 1st September 2022 / ASAP  

We are currently looking to appoint a suitable candidate for the post of Intervention and Curriculum Mentor.  Supported by the Curriculum Coordinator the role will require the successful candidate to deliver and assess resources to young people whilst keeping them engaged, enthusiastic and focused on their learning.  You will be confident supporting good learning skills and be able to recognise barriers to learning and be able to give detailed feedback to the team.  

The candidate will need to have Maths and English at GCSE grade C or above and it is desirable if the applicant has relevant experience or further education qualifications but this is not essential. Experience of working with young people in an educational setting and working with students in SEN and vulnerable groups is an advantage in this role. 

The role is paid on Kent Range 5 at £20,595 for a full time position, and a pro rata salary of £14,141.

This post is 30 hours over 5 days, term time only plus 2 inset days.
