The Cleaning Team is a key part of our School ensuring that we can provide a high-quality learning environment for staff and students to use every day.

The team is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the school are cleaned to a high standard, using the appropriate materials and equipment provided. We are a busy School and there is lots to do every day. We have an ambitious plan of activities and events and the cleaning team is vital for ensuring that the School always looks its best.

Applicants should have experience of cleaning in a similar environment and a willingness to support the School.

The standard hours of work are 4pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday during term time, plus a summer deep clean of two weeks (45 hours over the two weeks) but some flexibility may be required at times. We are one of the largest primary schools in Kent with nearly 862 children on roll, including a 27 Pre-School that offers 30 hour provision. Following our Ofsted inspection, January 2023, we join a small group or primaries who have kept their OUTSTANDING judgement in every aspect of the school.
