Assistant Data Manager

Contract:            

Permanent, Term-Time Only plus inset days (39 weeks per year) and 5 days in August (additional time paid on claim)

Hours:                 

Full time, 37 hours per week

Salary:                 

Kent Range 7 (FTE: £23,378-£26,466, actual salary for working 39 weeks per year £20,196.82-£22,864.62)

Responsible to: Data Manager, Senior Leadership Team

 

We are looking to appoint an experienced and committed Assistant Data Manager, ideally from an educational background, to work with the Data Manager in the porting the strategic direction of the school in its use of data and the development and maintenance of the School's Management Information System (currently SIMS) and other data handling tools/software.

 

This position will commence as soon as we find the right candidate.

 

Overall Responsibility:

  1. The Assistant Data Manager will support the Data Manager in the management, development and delivery of data, analysis, evaluation, statutory compliance, accuracy and dissemination to ensure accurate planning of teaching and learning and assessment of pupil progress.
  2. Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people with regard to the area child protection procedures.

The successful candidate will have strong data management experience, the ability to work on their own initiative and a positive and proactive approach. The ability to communicate data clearly and concisely with a range of individuals, excellent organisational skills combined and the ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines is essential.

The main site for TWGSB is in Tunbridge Wells. However, you may be required to work at other sites connected to TWGSB.
