We are looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant  to work with our pupils with Education Health Care Plans and those on the SEND Register.  We are particularly seeking Teaching Assistants with additional qualifications in Speech and Language Therapy, Sensory Circuits, Social Stories, Social Use of Language, Draw and Talk and other recognised intervention programmes.  Our expectations for our SEND learners are high and we promote a fully inclusive culture where barriers to learning are addressed through targeted interventions.  If you are ambitious for all children and keen to develop your skills and expertise, this role could be for you!  Investment in further training and professional development is available for the right candidate.  You may be a Psychology graduate with an interest in gaining experience in SEND or an aspiring teacher who wants to learn more about working in a school environment or an existing qualified and experienced practitioner who is looking for a new challenge.  We very much look forward to hearing from you!

Pelham Primary School is a two form entry primary school within Illuminate Minds Trust, a small thriving academy of two trust schools. The school is located in the centre of Bexleyheath with excellent transport links. Fairford School is based in the centre of Barnehurst and has two forms of entry. Partnership working between the schools is encouraged!
