Premises Assistant – Maundene Primary School

  

Permanent, full time (37 hours), all year round

 

Medway NJC, D2 SCP 4-11 (£19,264 - £22,129)

  

Are you a positive and well-organised individual with previous premises experience?

 

Maundene Primary School, part of the Inspire Partnership Academy Trust, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic premises assistant to join the school as soon as possible. Previous school based experience is not necessary. 

 

You will be the first point of contact for a wide range of duties that will keep our children, staff and parents safe and ensure that the site is always looking its best.  You will need to carry out general maintenance tasks across the site, which will include minor repair and refurbishment projects and carry out regular compliance checks.  Staff will also rely on you to provide a full porterage service across the school site. 

 

You will be able to demonstrate:

- an ability to manage health, safety, security and hygiene issues

- excellent practical skills and able to carry out a range of often physically demanding tasks

- a positive attitude to team work and the flexibility needed for working in a busy school environment

- self-motivation and the ability to plan and carry out work unsupervised

- a good standard of computer skills

Maundene Primary School is a friendly and supportive working environment with innovation and collaboration at the heart of everything we do. You will be supported by our wider Medway premises team, which includes dedicated maintenance and compliance leads and you will report to our Regional Facilities Manager.  There will be opportunities to work at other Inspire Partnership schools in the Medway area to support larger projects.
