We are a successful and thriving school with an excellent team and we are looking for a teaching assistant to primarily work with a young child in our school on a 1:1 basis. The successful candidate must be child centred, able to work collaboratively and want to be part of the class and wider school team. Patience and initiative are important and there should be some understanding of child development. It is important that any member of our school is a happy individual who is keen to work collaboratively with others. The succesful candidate will work within a class team. 

 

Information about the school

Boughton-under-Blean and Dunkirk is a one-form entry primary school with approximately 200 pupils. We are located just outside Canterbury, close to the M2/A2/Thanet Way motorways, just a few minutes drive from both Canterbury and Faversham.

We have an experienced and skilful body of staff that always welcomes new members of the team although staff rarely leave such is our happy place of work. We believe in developing all members of staff and we are friendly and supportive.
