We have a vacancy for an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Administrator at our school.  

Foreland Fields is a specialist school based in a new state-of-the-art building. The school offers excellent on site facilities including specialist rooms and a hydrotherapy pool. The school caters for 250+ pupils aged 3 – 19 years.

Foreland Fields School is innovative and forward thinking, placing great emphasis on the development of all staff in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.

The ideal candidate will have the relevant skills and abilities to manage the process of reviewing Education, Health and Care Plans for all pupils/students. The EHCP Administrator will ensure that correct procedures are met, all paperwork is up to date, completed and shared with the Local Authority within statutory deadlines.

The successful candidate will:

  • be smart, cheerful and well-spoken so that they project a suitably professional image of the school to the many people with whom they are in contact.
  • Be methodical and well organised.
  • Posses excellent IT skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Present with high level administrative skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Be totally committed to working in a confidential and discrete manner due to the sensitive nature of many of the duties of the role.

An understanding of EHCP’s and the process of reviewing them is desirable but not essential.

Information about the school

Foreland Fields School is a Day Special School for pupils with Profound, Severe and Complex Needs (PSCN), many of whom also have Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

We provide for 200+ pupils aged 3-19 in five departments, Nursery, Infants, Juniors (KS2) Secondary (KS3) and KS4/6th Form. In addition, we have satellite classes at Garlinge Primary School, Hartsdown Academy and East Kent College.
