Are you looking for a role as part of dedicated team of HR professionals? We are offering the opportunity to join Endeavour MAT’s HR & Payroll Team at its creation and build a career in HR with us.

We are looking to appoint a part-time HR & Payroll Administrator to provide essential support as part of a newly forming team within the Trust’s central office.

You will have experience of HR and Payroll processing and be able to demonstrate strong organisational and workload management skills. Under the direction of the HR & Payroll Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of the full employee lifecycle, so you will need a keen eye for detail and be capable of building strong links with key colleagues in our schools, providing them with a timely and efficient service. This is a new post so you will also need to contribute positively to the development of new working practices.

In return we can offer you the opportunity to be part of a friendly and supportive team with an emphasis on ongoing career development (including employer supported accredited professional qualification at a suitable level), both on the job and through external training. We offer a generous annual leave entitlement and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme (22.5% employer contribution), which provides a high-quality defined benefit pension scheme.  We are also looking forward to the launch of our new employee benefits platform and this will offer you a wide range of discounts at major retailers and access to wellbeing services.

This is a 25 hours a week role, ideally across the full working week..

If you’re interested I would like an informal conversation about the role then please contact recruitment@endeavour-mat.co.uk or telephone 01322 250 285.

Information about the trust

Endeavour MAT is a multi academy trust with responsibility for leading three Secondary Schools; a collaborative Sixth Form; and a Teaching School as part of the North West Kent Teaching Alliance. The Trust's schools successfully combine the best of educational experiences with two grammar schools (Wilmington Grammar School for Girls, and Wilmington Grammar School for Boys) and a community secondary school (Stone Lodge School).

The Trust's ambition is to improve the life chances of all students in the local area. In all of our schools, we aim to ensure our students are both exam ready and life ready.

In all Endeavour schools a strong emphasis is placed on encouraging students to be reflective and to embrace challenges, to learn from mistakes and develop the resilience to seek continual improvement. This growth approach can lead to a happy and fulfilling school life and a willingness to embrace change within and beyond school. It nurtures learners who value critique, support each other and feel empowered to drive their own learning. What better way is there to help prepare our students to prosper in an ever-changing world?

We focus our schools on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects combined with the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills as the best route to equip students for their lives and careers in the world of rapid, technology-driven, change. We intend to make sure our students are able to use their subject knowledge in creative and practical ways, so we build strong links with local businesses to support students as they consider their career choices.

Local businesses are involved in helping teachers design projects and provide support within the classroom. They bring new ideas to our Trust and schools and also provide work placements and apprenticeship opportunities. To find out more about us and our schools look at https://www.endeavour-mat.co.uk.
