Following the recent news that Orchards Academy has been awarded a new build by the Government we are very excited to be expanding our PE department. This position would suit someone who has the ability to teach a second subject in addition to PE. We are looking for an individual with passion and the drive to develop their own practice and to continue to increase the excellent Physical Education provision at Orchards Academy. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment, the ability to reflect and a personal desire to improve and develop. 

The successful candidate will become part of the ECT program at Orchards Academy. ECTs receive a wide variety of support from both within the school and the trust. ECTs benefit from regular CPD sessions, mentoring and a bespoke program of a support to help develop the finest teachers. 

Amongst other things this individual must;

-          Be resilient leader and committed to personal development.

-          Be able to demonstrate a passion for PE

-          A strong academic background

-          Be committed to working with students, parents and staff to raise standards.

-          Have the drive to make a real difference to the lives of students.
