Are you the welcoming face of our school?  We are seeking a professional, calm and well organised  receptionist to work within our busy school office, welcoming visitors, responding to the many enquiries that come to our door, whilst offering a smile and assistance.  Being able to multi task is vital whilst maintaining a cheery disposition.  You will be a good communicator and have strong ICT skills particularly in the use of MS Word and Excel. Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including parents/carers, children, staff and external agencies and visitors, you will be able to act with confidentiality and integrity. You will often be the first point of contact in the school through answering telephone calls, emails or written correspondence and will be able to prioritise and manage these contacts in a timely manner.

This is a fast-moving environment and a can-do attitude is essential, whilst being able to turn your hand to many different and sometimes, unusual tasks!

In return, the right candidate will join a fantastic team who are committed to ensuring that every child is nurtured and given the opportunity to flourish.

Previous administration experience is desirable but not essential; it is more important to be open to training, able to think on your feet and be the professional, public face of our school.  The role is 8.30am to 2.30pm daily, term time only.

Our Vision Statement

We are a growing community welcoming all into a secure, caring and inclusive environment, enabling us to flourish. Rooted in traditional Christian values, learning is fun, active and challenging. This nurtures spiritual, mental, physical and creative development. Our happy children build trusting relationships reflecting the love of God.

“Nurtured We Flourish”

Harrietsham Church of England Primary School is a friendly, rural village school set in beautiful countryside in the heart of the community. Our children, of whom there are currently 290, are polite and love to learn! We pride ourselves on the achievements of all our pupils - we are a school where everyone works together putting children at the heart of everything we do. The school is a modern building, which is a wonderful learning environment and we have just moved into our new extension which houses additional classrooms, an activity room and offices. In September 2018, we started to embark on an exciting journey of expansion to become a two form entry school. We are a friendly, welcoming school which is very well resourced; we maintain close links with the church. We have supportive parents and an active PTFA and Governing Body. Please contact us or visit our school website to find out more.
