Hever primary school is looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic, inspiring and creative Key Stage 1 Teacher to work with our fantastic children. The successful KS1 Teacher will be joining a team who, collectively, are responsible for supporting learning, and helping to deliver a creative and joyful curriculum for their children. We would welcome applications for this KS1 teaching post from strong and outstanding ECTs as well as experienced practitioners.

We feel this is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team on the next part of the school’s journey. We want someone who has a growth mind-set and a drive/passion for education, where fun, enjoyment and quality first teaching are at the heart of all lessons. We want a new member of staff to help enhance and bring our curriculum to life with imaginative ideas and who has strong subject knowledge.

A Year 1 teacher committed to securing excellent progress for each child that they teach.
Someone who can promote positive behaviour for learning that encourages children to be self-reflective and encourages them to challenge themselves.
Someone with the ability to be creative; inspiring children and adults alike.
Someone who has high expectations of themselves and others.
An innovative KS1 practitioner who is inspired by teaching a mastery curriculum in an inclusive way and is grounded in the belief that all pupils can achieve.
An excellent team player.
Someone with experience of working in KS1.
Someone who has passion, professional curiosity and a desire to develop.
Interest in leading a foundation subject.

Information about the school Hever is a one-form entry, Voluntary Aided church school situated in a beautiful village on the borders of Kent, Surrey and Sussex and two miles from the market town of Edenbridge. The school covers a wide catchment area of both rural and town environments.

We are a small school with high expectations. We pride ourselves on knowing our children and ensuring they reach their potential. The children benefit from beautiful grounds in a lovely setting, with a large sports field and forest school. The school is very well-supported by parents and Governors, and we have children who are well-motivated and keen to learn.
