A vacancy has arisen for a Chaplaincy Apprentice, to provide support and leadership of liturgical events, to act as a link between the school and local clergy and to provide support and counsel to students, staff and parents. A full job description and personal specification is available from our website, against which candidates’ applications will be considered. This role is designed to give you grounding and formation in Lay Chaplaincy. You will undertake training with an accredited provider for 20% of your working time alongside support, formation and on-the-job training from the School and the Diocese. Information about the school

Located on the southern fringes of the historic city of Canterbury, St Anselm's is a happy and successful wide ability school, catering for those who wish to receive a Catholic education. The school has a large catchment area extending from Ashford to Herne Bay and from Wingham to Faversham. It is regularly over-subscribed. The Sixth Form, numbering 150 students, offers a wide range of Advanced level and vocational courses. In September 2004 the school became a specialist school for Science, though retaining its Catholic ethos.
