We are looking for a creative and inspiring teacher to join our team at Grove Park Primary School.

We are a sought after school in the local area that is extremely well regarded by our parents and the local community. We could be best described as a nurturing and dynamic environment that puts children’s welfare and learning at the heart of everything we do.

All new colleagues are welcomed by a supportive senior leadership team, strong and friendly year group teams that are passionate about supporting mental and physical wellbeing alongside forward-facing educational excellence for our pupils; and a working environment that motivates and supports our colleagues to reach their best potential and brilliance in their practice.

We would love for you to join Grove Park if:

  • You are willing to share and promote our values and inclusive ethos;
  • You have teaching as your vocation and be able to celebrate children’s learning and successes;
  • You have a toolbox of key learning theories, skills and methods that will transform any activity in an engaging and vibrant learning opportunity for our children;
  • You are able to manage children’s behaviour in a positive way in line with the school’s vision;
  • You are invested in own CPD and be able to motivate children and colleagues around you;
  • You are self-driven, resilient, able to reflect on own practice and aspire for excellence.

In return we offer:

  • An inclusive and forward facing working environment with opportunities for personal and professional growth;
  • Well behaved pupils and an active parent community;
  • A skilled, proactive and energetic team of Teaching Assistants to support you on a daily basis;
  • Regular non-contact time and the school’s active work to reduce teachers’ workload;
  • Experienced and supportive colleagues;
  • An opportunity to work across both KS1&2;
  • Coaching and training to support your CPD;
  • An environment that promotes work-life balance and family values.
