A vacancy has arisen within our Infant School for a committed and passionate teacher to join the staff team in one of our Reception classes. Please note, this vacancy will be a one year contract in the first instance due to an increase in our school intake.

We are looking for a full-time Reception class teacher who has two or three years teaching experience, but for the right candidate, we will consider less experience.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated teaching team and supportive senior leadership team. As a two-form entry school you will benefit from being able to share planning and ideas with the other teachers in the year group. Our pupils are keen to learn and understand the importance of our school shared values:

Honesty, Determination, Kindness and Curiosity.

At Sandwich Infant School, we put high quality relationships between adults and children at the heart of everything we do.  We encourage everyone to have high expectations of themselves and each other so that we can develop a reflective, independent learning environment.

The post is subject to an enhanced disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and check against the ISA barred list for children, good references and verification of the right to work in the UK.

This position is for a temporary, full-time teacher to start in September 2022.
