We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and fun teacher to join our Key Stage 2 team, and teach our Year 3 class. The successful candidate will be as mad as the rest of us, and have a passion for teaching and learning. This could be an ECT or an experienced teacher. We are a close team, and you will have support from your colleagues, as well as our excellent special educational needs team, counsellor, speech therapy assistant, our sport and tennis coach, our music teacher and our specialist science teacher. We are an unusual school because our children start at the age of two, in our brand new Early Years unit.

St Marys School is a friendly and popular C of E Primary School in the St Mary’s ward of Swanley. We have strong links with both the local church, St Mary the Virgin, and the wider community. We have a one form entry across the school, as well as a successful LEA nursery attached, which takes children from the age of 2. Our staff are highly motivated and hard working, setting high standards for the 270 pupils in their care. Our results at the end of Key Stage 2 are often above the national average, and this is reflective of how hard working and professional our staff are.
