Are you an enthusiastic & experienced SEN Learning Support Practitioner? Can you support our learners with SEN one-to-one and as groups in the classroom and practical workshops?

We are looking to appoint learning support practioners to start in September 2022 to work across all vocational areas of the College including Motor Vehicle, Construction, Hair & Beauty, ICT as well as other classroom based study programmes and therefore, must have some expereinece within these areas. 

Kite College is an Independent Specialist Post-16 College in Sittingbourne, providing specialist education and vocational training for young people with SEND including ASD and SEMH.

To be successful in the role we are looking for someone who can:

  • Support young people aged 16-25 with learning difficulties, including ASD and SEMH, with their vocational programmes to achieve their full potential
  • Provide support on a 1:1 basis, or as a group as required
  • Support lecturing staff in training on a range of topics and tasks relevant to the curriculum
  • Provide pastoral support and care
  • Help prepare and provide learning resources and equipment to deliver the curriculum
