Fortis Trust seeks to employ a Subject Leader to drive forward their Work Related Learning provision throughout the Trust.

This role has been created through the rapid development of the Work Experience pathways at Bradfields Academy along with the expansion of the Specialist Post 16 Institution, Forward2Employment, that is part of Fortis Trust. 

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of Work Related Learning qualifications across both provisions. 

Applicants should have a clear understanding of effective teaching, raising and sustaining achievement, and the care and support of individuals with SEN. They should have a vision and a drive to deliver meaningful and personalised curricula. Experience of careers related education would be welcome.

Bradfields Academy provides Special Education for students with Learning Difficulties and associated conditions. It is an Outstanding (OFSTED 2022) provision catering for students from 4-19. Students at Bradfields regularly achieve far in excess of expectation.

Forward2Employment offers young people with an EHCP a pathway to employment through Supported Internships. Application for acceptance to this Specialist Post 16 Institution is available to all students with an EHCP regardless of their current provider.
