Luton Primary School are looking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Assistant Headteacher.  This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the leadership team in shaping the future of our school.  This strategic role will include leading, developing and supporting effective practice.

  • Has excellent and effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Someone who is strategic and creative 
  • Experience of SEND
  • Experience of safeguarding vulnerable young people
  • High expectations of both self and students
  • A commitment to getting the best outcomes for all pupils and promoting the ethos and values of the school.

The Role:

  • The Assistant Headteacher will work closely and under the direction of the Headteacher
  • Will assist the Headteacher in the leadership and management of the school.
  • To teach a class of children in line with whole school policies and to undertake pastoral, administrative and leadership duties.
  • Monitoring standards of learning and achievement of all pupils
  • Managing staff and resources and supporting teaching staff across the school
  • Supporting with behaviour management across the school
