Advert

We currently have vacancies for General Support Staff posts.  We are looking for people to be part of a bank of support staff to assist in covering staff absences as well as short term periods of support in various areas across the school.

These are casual contracts, providing numerous opportunities to work in support roles across the school, and are an excellent way to receive experience and training within a school environment.  Areas of support could include Teaching Assistant, Midday Supervisor, Breakfast Club, After School Club, as well as opportunities to work during school holidays within our Holiday Play Scheme provision.

As casual contracts, there is no obligation for the School to provide work or for you to accept it if work is available.

Hours of work will be on an agreed basis as required and will be paid at a rate of KR3 (FTE is £19,293 which would be pro rate depending on the hours worked.  Hourly rate is £10 per hour.)

Are you able to:

  • Provide a safe and caring environment for the children
  • Provide a stimulating, happy and relaxing, fun atmosphere
  • Work as part of a team
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Interact with the children through activities

Applicants should express any areas in which they have a particular interest as well as any regular times that they would be available for work.
