Tiger Primary School requires a Catering Assistant on a term time basis for 16 hours per week. The role will be based across five days per week between 11:30 – 2:40pm Monday and 11:30m – 2:45pm Tuesday – Friday. This role will be on a permanent basis. 

You will be responsible to the Head Chef and when required you will be assisting in the hygienic preparation, delivery and/or serving of meals and ensuring the kitchen, dining area and equipment are cleaned to a high standard. You will also be required to provide an excellent hospitality service for guests and staff within the Academies for meeting as and when required.

Applicants must be able to follow directions and carry out tasks as part of a team, as well as using own initiative. Applicants must also be able to communicate with others in an acceptable and appropriate manner. A basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to the job is essential.

 Knowledge of basic food hygiene and a background in catering and hospitality would be an advantage, however training will be given.
