To carry out the general professional duties of a teacher as outlined in the Teachers’ Standards and as directed by senior staff. This includes

  • Pastoral Care of a Mentor Group
  • Supervision and progress of all learners in allocated classes.

 

To carry out the responsibilities of a Lead Teacher. This includes

  • Planning and delivering the Drama curriculum
  • Leading on the assessment, recording and reporting for Drama
  • Accountable for Drama student outcomes at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Quality assurance of Drama teaching and student outcomes
  • Leading any staff who teach Drama within the academy
  • Represent Drama at any whole academy events/parents evenings as required by the Principal
