In this important role, you will join our supportive and experienced team.

As a Teaching Assistant you will: 

  • Provide learning support to pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Work with small groups and individual pupils in a classroom setting under the direct supervision of teaching staff, providing feedback on learning outcomes. 
  • Support pupils with social and emotional well-being, reporting on any challenges. 

 

To succeed in this role, you will: 

  • Be Educated to a Level 2 Diploma or equivalent to include Math’s and English at GCSE C or above.
  • Be experienced and competent in working with small group learning interventions and small group work in numeracy, literacy and reading. 
  • Have the ability to adapt and relate well to students and adults, understanding their individual needs, responding accordingly

 

Please note: This role is a term time only post working Monday to Friday 8:30 - 15:05.
