New Line Learning Academy is an exciting school, which was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its November 2019 inspection. We now have an opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to join us on a full-time permanent basis from September 2022.

You will be expected to provide dynamic and professional leadership and management for the Academy. This will build upon change to secure success and development, ensuring high quality education for all its pupils and improved standards of achievement. To inspire, challenge, motivate and empower all members of the Academy community to carry the vision forward.

 

As the new Deputy Headteacher of this school you will:

  • Will raise achievement and deliver excellent academic outcomes
  • Can model excellence in the classroom
  • Has the training, skills and experience to make a significant impact on the quality of teaching and learning
  • Be highly effective at managing pupil engagement and behaviour
  • Has the initiative, energy and enthusiasm to enhance community and external performance opportunities
  • Is able to evaluate and improve their impact and effectiveness
  • Will provide an active link with other key colleagues to support the research, development, innovation and evaluation of teaching & learning across the school
  • Ability to teach across all Key Stages
  • As well as our state-of-the-art facilities, we have an exciting programme of trips, visits, visitors and extra-curricular activities as well as offering you a laptop computer with access to a high range of high-quality teaching and learning resources.
