Advert

Are you an amazing, enthusiastic, creative, caring and energetic teaching assistant with a can do attitude? If so, then our school needs you! We need an experienced teaching assistant to join our happy and established school team, supporting KS2 pupils who receive HNF. Experience of working with children with autism/speech and language difficulties will be essential. Our staff room is supportive and has an endless supply of cakes/biscuits and chocolate. We are very proud of our school and have worked really hard as a team to get our school to where it is now. We had a very successful Ofsted in 2019 and were graded good in all areas. We are lucky to have extensive school grounds and our focus is very much on outdoor learning and our curriculum is enquiry based and child led. We have a large school field and a nature/bush craft area/pond area that is used to enhance teaching and learning. Our fantastic children are at the centre of all that we do and we make sure that we always put them first - they get one chance at an education and our main priority is to make their time with us memorable and enjoyable. Well-being of staff and pupils is also a key priority. The successful candidate will be supported by our experienced SENCo. Visits to the school are essential to meet our team. The vacancy is for 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday and will be on a yearly temporary contract, starting in September 2022.
