We welcome applications from talented individuals who will dedicate themselves to the implementation of the school and department’s vision and the continued development of the department. The successful applicant must be passionate about their subject and have the drive to maintain superb academic results.

This role is suitable of either an Early Career Teachers (ECT) or somebody already teaching but ambitious to develop their career further. Students frequently leave the department to undertake related courses at top university, with a consistently high number progressing to Oxbridge, Russell Group and other top-20 universities.

Our school places the same importance on academic excellence as it does on mental wellbeing and the development of non-examined skills. Teachers are given the opportunity to develop and lead research opportunities; previous and current projects have been/are supported by the likes of the Royal Society, major pharmaceutical companies and top universities. These projects feed into the rich and varied offer delivered through the Langton Extended Curriculum, working to ensure that we help shape ambition, confident, independent and creative students, ready to take their place in society.

The successful candidate will be offered a full programme of personal professional development and support as they continue in their career, alongside a comprehensive induction programme.
