New Ash Green Primary School are looking to appoint a reliable and trustworthy Assistant Caretaker on a fixed term contract until 31st August 2023. The successful candidate will be required to work 12 hours a week.

Duties will include: general maintenance of the buildings and grounds, liaison with line manager, some cleaning, general security, receiving of deliveries, collect and assemble waste for collection and undertake general portage duties. There may be a split shift pattern of work with the possibility of some unsocial hours.

The person appointed should have a flexible approach to duties and enjoy working in a school environment. They will need to be physically fit. ICT skills would be advantageous.

Information about the school

The school serves the community of New Ash Green Village and surrounding area. The school has excellent resources and is set within attractive grounds. There are two halls, four playgrounds, a field, an orchard, fourteen rooms, a mobile, a medical room and library areas along with an IT suite of thirty-one computers. We are a highly professional team of colleagues who welcome new team members. The school encourages parental involvement and our PTA offers significant support. Visits to the school are welcomed.
