We are looking for new team members to join our dedicated, supportive and successful Claremont team.

Role 3: 1:1 Teaching Support Assistant/ Intervention Teaching partner (TA)

Are you a teaching assistant already or have the skills to become one?

Do you have the skills to work with a pupil with Special Educational Needs to support their personalised learning and social development?

You will work under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo. This is varied role to support as a 1:1 and also to provide intervention work for small groups of children. The support staff team is supportive, welcoming and training will be provided as needed.

The role is Term Time Only (38 weeks per year), and temporary until 31.08.2023 as the vacancy is linked to pupil funding; this post has the opportunity to extend past that time frame to move support as the children move through the school.

Days: 

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday mornings 1:1 
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday afternoons: group work

KS2 timings: morning sessions:  08:45- 12:30pm afternoon sessions 1:15pm-3:30pm this includes with a flexible break time in order to support pupil over break and the end of lunchtime support and the transition back into the class for afternoon learning. (28 hours at £19293 pro-rata)
