We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our friendly, happy, professional team at Frittenden. A working knowledge of best practice and the ability to inspire and support both children and adults is a key requirement. An active willingness to contribute to whole school improvement is vital. The post will involve some covering of whole classes on a regular basis to facilitate PPA.

Candidates must be:

  • Qualified and experienced in the role
  • A team player 
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Able to build strong relationships with children across the school
  • Skilled at delivering whole class sessions, keeping learning and established school systems on track

Ideally, you will have experience of working in the foundation stage, as well as key stage 1 and 2.

Shortlisted candidates may be observed working with children as part of the selection process.

HOURS OF WORK - 8.30 to 3.30, 5 days per week   TERM TIME ONLY PLUS TEACHER TRAINING DAYS

Information about the school

Frittenden Church of England Primary School is a popular small school in the heart of the village. Whilst we benefit from an idyllic location in the heart of the countryside, we are easily accessible from Maidstone, Ashford and Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding villages. We currently have 101 children on roll divided into 4 classes, with an intake of 15 into the Reception class and mixed classes thereafter.

As a church school we enjoy a close relationship with St Mary's Church. We promote our Christian values of Compassion, Joy and Respect throughout our school.
