Advert

Our long serving Inclusion leader is leaving us at the end of the summer term, and so we need to recruit somebody to fill her shoes. We are a stable and experienced team and would welcome applications from current SENCos or Inclusion Leaders or those who are currently building their expertise as an assistant SENCo or similar, or are currently working on their SENCO qualification.

We have arranged a smooth transition for the role, with remote support provided by the current postholder for the first term of the new school year at least, as the succesful applicant finds their feet in the role at Swalecliffe. We also have an SEN admin assistant who is a mine of useful information both in terms of SEN and knowing the school well.

In our new structure, year group leaders will work alongside our new Inclusion Leader to timetable, track and support their team to ensure that all interventions are in place, so you will not be on your own!

Staff love working at Swalecliffe, and we rarely have a vacancy, so please take the opportunity to come and meet us, see the school, and see what our career ladder has to offer, if this is a stepping stone in your career, or if you want to find a place to work for the next decade. Either way, you will be very welcome.

We hope the job description gives you plenty of scope for the kind of things you will be doing and the skills that you need, please use this to guide your application in terms of experience and suitability to the role, or ask us, if you would like to know more.
