Lenham Primary School are seeking an experienced, well organised and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our busy office team. The successful candidate will work calmly amidst frequent interruptions whilst priding themselves on making an excellent first impression of our school and creating long-lasting relationships with parents and colleagues, but especially with pupils who are at the heart of everything that we do.

We welcome applications from those who have previous, proven, experience in school administration and good organisational skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills are a must, and the ability to prioritise workload, take own initiative and to work to deadlines is essential. Experience of working with school’s administrations systems (particularly SIMS) and attendance monitoring would be advantageous.

The position is for 4 days per week which must include a Thursday and Friday, working 8am - 4pm with half an hour for lunch (30 hrs per week).

The pay scale is KR4. (Kent Range 4: £19,389 £20,493.  Start date is as soon as possible.

The closing date for applications is Friday 20th May 12pm,l with interviews for those short-listed expected to take place on Wednesday 25th May.  You may be asked to undertake a task based exercise.
