Information about the school

Built in 1882, Davington is a 14 class school set in six acres of beautiful surroundings. Our buildings range from the original school through to a modern new block opened in 2023.

We have two fields, a swimming pool and a fantastic Woodland with a classroom, orchard, pond, story telling area and much more. All classes have access to a fully interactive Discovery Suite and Music Room alongside other workspaces beyond the classroom. All learning spaces are well resourced.

Through our curriculum, our children are taught to observe, discuss, reflect, create and problem solve to flourish and achieve challenging personal targets using the full potential of our grounds. We celebrate all success at DPS and offer a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities for our children from rugby to flower arranging.

We pride ourselves in ensuring the well being of all pupils and staff, which is reflected in our caring environment. We promote a strong collegiate approach and support CPD at all levels.
