How do I create my digital signature?

If you are a tutor, headteacher or chair of governors you will be asked to create your digital signature when you click on the "List of NQTs" link, or try to view an NQTs details.

If you are an NQT you will be asked to create your digital signature when you log in and go to digitally sign your assessment.

I cannot view my NQTs details.

NQT details can only be viewed by the tutor that they are assigned to, or the headteacher. If you get an "Access Denied" message you are not the registered tutor for this NQT.

What this means is that your headteacher will need to change the tutor on the system. They need to go into the NQT's details, select 'monitoring tutor' from the left hand NQT menu and then select your name from the drop down list of tutors. You will then be able to access the NQT's details.

If you still cannot access the NQT's details, please continue to add your helpdesk post, including the name of the NQT and the username that you are using to log in with.

I have forgotten my digital signature. Can you send it to me?

We cannot send you your digital signature information.

Your information should be easy to remember as it is made up of:

  • The first two letter of your eye colour (e.g. BL for blue).

  • The last two letters of your date of birth (e.g. 73).

  • The first two letters of your mothers maiden name.

The absolute last resort, if you entered your signature incorrectly in the first place is that it can be reset for you. In this instance, please continue to add a helpdesk post and request that your signature is reset. Please supply your username with this request.
