An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly customer focused and professional senior administrator to join the East Kent Cantium HR Consultancy team which is based at Brook House in Whitstable.
Within our Consultancy Team we pride ourselves in offering a range of HR services tailored to meet our customer needs. The team advise customers on a range of complex employee relations issues including disciplinary; grievance; bullying and harassment; recruitment and selection; redundancy and restructure; transfer of undertakings (TUPE); ill health; capability and terms and conditions of employment. We also provide additional services to our clients such as investigations and mediation.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our strong and established team. In this role, you will provide support to the consultancy team and our customers. Ideally you will have experience of working in an HR department and have good knowledge of the processes and procedures associated with schools and academies.

You will thrive on working on your own initiative and working as part of a friendly and supportive team, all of this whilst maintaining and providing the highest standards of customer care. You should have experience in using all MS Office packages and be able to quickly pick up new systems including our case management software. You will be responsible for line managing the HR Team Administrator based in East Kent and will work with the HR Consultants to ensure the smooth running of HR processes including redundancies and TUPE transfers, ensuring that legislative and procedural deadlines are met.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to further extend your working knowledge of HR practices and procedures in a fast-paced customer focused service and is a good position to set yourself on an HR Career Pathway.
You will receive a detailed induction and training programme, a support buddy, regular one-to-one meetings with your supervisor and have an ongoing development plan.
