Job Description

The Education People is owned by Kent County Council and is a one-stop shop for education services, to help you improve learning, wellbeing and children’s development. We support the full age range from early years to young adults, with over 800 products and services available specific to education needs always. Our people are here to support your people and ensure you receive a high quality product and get value for money.

An opportunity to join the Schools Financial Services Team.

A role supporting schools in the delivery of a range of flexible traded finance support services for schools and academies.

To ensure robust financial planning, financial integrity and budgetary controls in line with the LA statutory requirements to ensure schools are financially well managed.

Experience of working within a finance environment, good written and verbal communications skills, IT skills, analytical and interpretive skills with the ability to work as part of a team.

The ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is essential.
