Kent Teaching Alliances

Teaching alliances are groups of teaching schools that work together to support the development of high quality teaching, learning and leadership.

Aspire, Teach, Achieve with the Ashford Teaching Alliance

The Brook Learning Trust is made up of a diverse range of partners, based in West Kent, with a shared vision to drive school improvement through collaboration and learning so that all children and young people are able to access high quality education and achieve their best.

Canterbury and Swale Teacher Training Alliance is the formation of three main lead schools into one alliance that give opportunities to train to teach across the Sheppey, Swale and Canterbury region.

We are dedicated to providing 'Excellence in Special Education across Kent' via our unique network encompassing all of the 24 special schools throughout the county.

DASCo has 42 members, established to support collaboration to enhance and improve the education, care and welfare for Dartford children and young people. It operates under the framework of a Teaching Alliance and is a strategic partner of the TTA. 

Northfleet Nursery School, is an outstanding early years provider granted Teaching School status by the National College for School Leadership.

The EKLA's vision is to improve the outcomes of children. We aim to achieve this by working collaboratively to coordinate inter-school support and provide effective professional development opportunities for all.

Led by schools to provide training and services which schools want, GLP currently has 30 member schools who collectively give us our direction. Since our foundation in 2011, some 80 other schools have tried our services and recognise the impact and value of schools' collaboration.

Established since September 2014, comprises of 11 schools from Kent and Medway. School partners represent primary, junior, secondary, special, faith and selective schools and academies drawn from across the area.

KMT have been providing high quality Teacher Training within our partner schools for over 25 years, supporting trainees on their journey towards successful future careers in teaching and leadership.

MTSA now has 70+ members and partners with a wide range of schools. We are committed to the belief that every child deserves outstanding teaching, every teacher deserves great support and every schools deserves inspirational leadership.

Is a provider for School-led initial teaching training, in addition to school to school support and professional development opportunities for staff across both Primary and Secondary schools.

The Shepway Teaching Schools has been designated by the National College to play a key role in leading training and professional development of teachers, support staff, deputy heads, head teachers and governors.

At the forefront of innovation, individualised learning and inspirational teaching, so that all are valued, included and respected as equal members of our learning community.

We are a partnership of over 30 primary and secondary schools in West Kent & East Sussex.

The Tenterden Rural Alliance is a collaboration of schools from the Tenterden area who are working together to raise achievement for all our pupils.

The Valley Invicta Teaching School Alliance (VITSA) is a Teaching School Alliance dedicated to providing a 'world class' experience for all students within all our Alliance schools.

The Westlands Schools Teaching Alliance works closely with both primary and secondary phases to deliver outstanding training and development for their teachers and leaders.
