Kent Teachers Can Win a Costa Gift Card for National Thank a Teacher Day!

For National Thank a Teacher Day, we’re asking you to nominate a special teacher from a Kent school, and they could win a £10 Costa e-gift card! PLUS, everyone who makes a nomination will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win their own £10 Costa e-gift card! Here’s what to do:

1) Visit the competition post on one of our platforms: Facebook or Instagram

2) Comment with the name of the Kent teacher you’d like to nominate (tagging optional!) and one of the following:

• A message thanking a teacher or school staff member
• A story about a teacher who made a difference
• A shoutout to a current or past educator
• A photo (where possible on platform) related to their teacher or school experience.

3) You're done! Wait to see if they're a winner and if you won a prize in the raffle.

Competition closes on 22nd June 2026 at 10am. If your nominee wins, we’ll contact you via the social media channel you entered on by replying to your winning comment to notify you. We will then need you to send a DM to us to collect the details for delivery and arrange the prize. When contacted, winning entrants must be able to provide the name, class/subject name and the Kent school name of their nominee as well as their email for them to receive their prize, and provide their own email address to receive their prize (if they have won the raffle).

Once we have received the contact details of the winning teachers, we will contact them separately to arrange the delivery of their prize to them. Once the raffle winner has provided their email address, we will send the e-gift card to them via email.

Terms & Conditions:

1) Open to UK residents only.

2) Entrants must be 18 or over.

3) Competition opens on 17th June 2026 at 7am and closes at 10am GMT on 22th June 2025. Entries made after this time will not be counted.

4) Entries to be made via the comments of the competition post on the Kent Teach social media pages (Instagram and Facebook). Entries on reminder posts or other promotional posts will not be counted.

5) Multiple entries can be made per person, with the condition that entries are made in separate comments on the competition post, with a different nominee for each entry. Each entrant and nominee can only win once. Entrants may not nominate themselves as these entries will not be counted.

6) Nominees must be teachers currently working in Kent schools. Entrants may be a teacher that nominates another teacher, and can reciprocate in separate entries.

7) Only one nominee to be named per entry. If more than one nominee is named in a single entry, only the first name will be counted. Entrants may not change their nominee when claiming their prizes.

8) Entrants may tag their nominees in an entry, but this is not a requirement of the competition.

9) Entries containing inappropriate, offensive, or abusive imagery or language will not be counted.

10) There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

11) The prize is as stated: A £10 Costa e-gift card for winning nominee teachers and a £10 Costa e-gift card for one raffle winner. Six Costa e-gift cards total to be won: Five for winning teachers, and one for a randomly generated competition entrant. No cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable.

12) Kent Teach reserves the right to cancel or amend the giveaway and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Kent Teach’s control. Any changes to the giveaway will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

13) The winners will be randomly selected by an online generator, featuring entrant names, comments and Facebook profile images. This process may be recorded and posted on our social media channels. By entering you are giving permission to use your name and image in future posts.

14) The winning entrants will be contacted via direct message on the platform they entered on after the draw on 22nd June 2026. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not provide the required details by 11:59pm on 23rd June 2025, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The required details to be sent in this time are the name, class/subject name and Kent school name and email address of their winning nominee teacher, and their own email address to receive their prize if they have won the raffle.

15) The winning entrants and raffle prize winner may not make amendments to the prize after dispatch. Any requests to change the prize’s recipient or quantity, or receive a refund will not be accepted.

16) All entrants agree that if they win, they and their nominees may be featured and tagged on our social media channels, including their names and Facebook profile pictures.

17) Kent Teach are not sponsored by Costa and have no affiliation with the company.

18) By entering this competition, the entrant is agreeing to these terms and conditions.
