Halloween Trick or Treat Competition - Terms and Conditions

This light-hearted Halloween competition is all about celebrating the creativity and dedication of teachers across Kent! We’re inviting you to share their favourite classroom “trick” (a clever teaching hack) or “treat” (a reward system or fun activity) for a chance to win a relaxing Teacher Treat Box filled with goodies. Here’s what to do:

1) Visit the Facebook, Instagram or X competition post. 

2) Comment with a your favourite classroom “trick” (a clever teaching hack) or “treat” (a reward system or fun activity.

3) You're done! Wait to see if they're a winner!

Competition closes on Thursday 16^th October 2025 at 10:00am. If you win, we’ll contact you via Facebook messenger on the same day to confirm and arrange the delivery of your prize. When contacted, winning entrants must be able to provide their name, email address and address to receive your prize.

Terms & Conditions: 

1. Open to UK residents only. 

2. Entrants must be 18 or over. 

3. Competition opens at 10:00 am GMT on Thursday 9^th October 2025 and closes at 10:00am GMT on Thursday 16^th October 2025. Entries made after this time will not be counted. 

4. Entries to be made via the comments of the Facebook, Instagram or X competition post on the Kent-Teach accounts. 

5. Multiple entries can be made per person, with the condition that entries are made in separate comments on the competition post, with a different nominee for each entry. Each entrant and nominee can only win once. Entrants may not nominate themselves as these entries will not be counted. 

6. Entries containing inappropriate, offensive, or abusive imagery or language will not be counted.

7. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. 

8. The prize is as stated: A treat box. No cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. 

9. Kent-Teach reserves the right to cancel or amend the giveaway and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Kent-Teach’s control. Any changes to the giveaway will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. 

10. The winners will be randomly selected by an online generator, featuring entrant names, comments and Facebook, Instagram or X profile images. This process may be recorded and posted on our social media channels. By entering you are giving permission to use your name and image in future posts. 

11. The winning entrants will be contacted via direct message on the appropriate social media platform after the draw on Thursday 16^th October 2025. If a winner cannot be contacted by direct message, Kent-Teach will comment on the winning posts to encourage winners to get in touch with us. Should winners not be able to be contacted or do not provide the required details by 11:59pm on Thursday 16^th October 2025, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The required details to be sent in this time are the name, email address and Kent school name of their winning nominee, and their own email address to receive their prize if they have won the raffle. 

12. The winning entrants may not make amendments to the prize after dispatch. Any requests to change the prize’s recipient or quantity, or receive a refund will not be accepted. 

13. All entrants agree that if they win, their ‘Tips’ or ‘Tricks’ may be featured on our social media channels, including their names and Facebook profile pictures. 

14. Kent-Teach are not sponsored by any prize company and have no affiliation with them. 

15. By entering this competition, the entrant is agreeing to these terms and conditions. 

16. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Kent-Teach and not to any other party.
