3) Wildings Holiday Club

This summer, Wildwood is also offering their Wildlings Holiday Club! Wildlings children can get active in nature from 9am until 3pm, try new things and make new friends – both furry and human. They will have the opportunity to learn about our animals, enjoy exploring for mini-beasts, get involved with various craft activities and nature-based games and try out bushcraft – developing life skills and building confidence. With DBS checked and first-aid trained staff, you can enjoy peace of mind whilst your little wildlings enjoy fun-filled days connecting with nature this Spring, Summer and Autumn.

4) Nature Trails and Walks

Wildwood Trust boasts a network of nature trails that meander through ancient woodland and natural habitats. These trails are perfect for leisurely strolls, allowing you to immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the forest while spotting wildlife in their natural surroundings. Remember to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring your camera to capture the breathtaking scenery.

5)  Adventure Play Area

If you’re visiting with children, the adventure play area is a must-visit. Designed to blend seamlessly with the natural environment, this playground offers a range of fun and challenging activities for kids to enjoy. From climbing frames and slides to swings and tunnels, it’s a great place for children to burn off some energy while parents relax nearby.

6) Picnic Spots and Refreshments

Wildwood Trust provides several picturesque picnic spots where you can enjoy a packed lunch amidst nature. For those who prefer not to bring their own food, the on-site café offers a selection of hot and cold meals, snacks, and beverages. 7) Summer Evening Sessions

Wildwood Trust regularly hosts special events and experiences throughout the year. This summer, they are bringing back their fantastic evening sessions where you can enjoy the park between 6-9pm. With both adult-only and family options, this is the perfect way to see those nocturnal creatures come to life. That is not all, Wildwood have teamed up with Flatstone Pizza and will be serving these delicious delights during their Summer Evening Sessions.
