Measuring and Monitoring Children and Young People’s Mental Wellbeing

In light of Mental Health Awareness week which was last week (8th until 14th May), below is a resourceful video on how schools can measure and monitor children and young people’s mental wellbeing.

In the video, Lee Atkins, Regional Improvement Support Officer for Child Outcomes Research Consortium (CORC), covers the following topics:

  • Why measuring child mental wellbeing matters to schools
  • Different ways to measure children mental wellbeing in school
  • Resources to support you

Let’s work together to support children and young people with their mental wellbeing and ultimately reduce the concerning statistics which relate to the state of the UK’s mental health.

You can find more mental health information off Mental Health Ambassador, Pooky Knightsmith's website.

Here is a blog post on practical strategies for helping children manage overwhelming feelings which was posted in February for Children's Mental Health Week.
