10 Family-Friendly Half Term Activities - February 2017

Half term is slowly but surely creeping up and to help you out, we have found some fun activities to keep the kids entertained during their week off. 

1) 11, 12, 18 & 19 February: A Day Out With Thomas! Kent & East Sussex Railway, Tenterden

Rides behind Thomas, face painting, balloon modelling, magic show, play area, a goody bag and more! Lots to entertain any big Thomas fans.

2) 11- 17 February: Fairy Scavenger Hunt, Whitstable Castle

Follow the clues and find the fairies. Join the Fairy craft Workshops after for more fairy fun!

3) 11 - 19 February: Tree-sure Hunt, Ightham Mote 

Explore the wonderful gardens with a copy of the 'Tree-sure Hunt' trail, there is also the winter activity pack to keep you busy. Wrap up warm!

4) 11 – 19 February: Spring Half Term Fun at the Farm! The Hop Farm, Paddock Wood

A long fun list of things to do during half term at The Hop Farm. Loads of rides and inflatables to have fun on along with our popular attractions that include indoor soft play, 4D Cinema, Driving School, Animal Farm and Giant Jumping Pillows. Different things going on every day so check the schedule.

5) 12 – 17 February: Half Term at Betteshanger Park, Deal 

The Sky Birds Of Prey display team will be visiting Betteshanger with their magnificent birds on 12 February and Betteshanger Basecamp is on throughout the week with different activities from cycling and archery to geocaching.

6) 13 February: Mini-Beast Fun Day White Oak Leisure Centre, Swanley

Featuring millipedes, scorpions, snakes, lizards, tarantulas, cockroaches, stick insects and lots of other creatures. Perfect for kids who love creepy crawlies and want to learn more.

7) 13 – 17 February 2017: Super Hero February Hall Place & Gardens, Bexley 

Fun filled day encouraging kids to dress up as their favourite superhero and have fun making their own hero.

8) 14 – 16 February: Don’t Dribble on the Dragon Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury

A children’s show with magic and dragons!

9) 14 – 17 February: February Half Term Make-It Workshops Maidstone Museum 

Enjoy a week of creative workshops this half term holiday! T-shirt design, mask and shield making.

10) 21 February 2017: Thrive Woodville, Gravesend

This one is not during half term but this production for young audiences aged 14+ sounds like it could be very interesting. A visually stunning new production staged within a large set that surrounds the audience.
