Kent Top Teacher Award WINNERS

On Thursday 19th May, the county’s leading educators visited Leeds Castle for the Kent Top Teachers Awards ceremony, organised by KM Charity Team in partnership with the KM Group.

Members of the public, pupils and colleagues were invited to nominate the best teachers in Kent, Medway and Bexley.  Award winners were those established in school roles including teachers new to the profession.

Paul Blake was one winner from The Leigh UTC and claimed the Science, IT  and Technology Teacher of the Year Award in the Dartford and Gravesham area just twelve months after he qualified for the role.

Paul worked as a computer engineer for over 20 years before considering teaching and is truly honoured to be named winner. He’s so appreciative to his Year 12 group who put him forward for nomination – congratulations Paul!
