National Salt Week: 12th - 18th March 2018


National Salt Week provides an opportunity for us to review our eating habits, find out about hidden salt and see how we can reduce salt in our diets. Action Salt has some great information and resources. 

You can download the FoodSwitch UK app to your phone which can help you make healthier choices when you are out shopping. MyFitnessPal is also a good app that’s free to help track what you’re eating throughout the day and adds up your sodium intake as well as other minerals and vitamins.

Blood Pressure UK has some low-salt recipes from beef satay to spring vegetable and herb frittata. Be more salt savvy and share any tips you have with us!
