FREE online distance learning courses in MFL


Do you currently teach or wish to teach French or Spanish in Primary schools? Are you looking to enhance your CV and add extra dimension to your portfolio for employers?

The University of Warwick’s Centre for Professional Education is offering three new FREE online distance learning courses in Modern Foreign Languages starting in November 2015, funded by the Department of Education. 

By developing your knowledge, skills and understanding of MFL you can sustain a successful MFL curriculum for pupils. By participating on our courses you will also have access to our MFL Resource Hub.

You can sign up to anyone or all of these courses! They are completely FREE.

Course 1 – Independent online distance learning sessions ideal for beginners looking to learn the basics of French and Spanish languages suitable for Primary aged children

Course 2 – Mixture of distance learning including: pre-recorded lectures and live online sessions around the Assessment Level Matrix around Speaking, Reading, Writing and Grammar ideal for all Primary teachers and previous participants

Course 3 - Mixture of distance learning including: pre-recorded lectures and live online sessions. A collection of resources around lesson plans, class room resources and multimedia examples will be available. Ideal for Subject Leaders/Co-ordinators and previous MFL participants
