Finberry Primary School are looking to recruit an Intervention Teaching Assistant to support individuals and small groups of children.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, flexible and adaptable with good literacy and numeracy skills. Previous experience of working with children with educational needs is desirable but above all, we would like someone with a calm and positive approach to working with children with varying levels of special educational needs. We are fully committed to ensuring that pupils within this area of special need are integrated as fully as possible into our schools and that they feel as highly valued as all other pupils.

This can be a challenging position, but equally very rewarding. The successful applicant will be joining a well established, forward thinking and supportive team of professionals. 

The role is term time only (30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year)

Salary is paid at a pro rata'd KR3 (approximately £12,520 gross) 

Please note: This role is attached to funding which is reviewed annually. As such, the role is temporary and subject to review 31st August 2022

Location: Ashford, Kent, UK - Finberry Primary School is a growing primary school - A large, purpose-built site in Finberry Village, the school has an on-site nursery for 2,3 and 4 year olds and also hosts a Specialist Resource Provision dedicated for children with a primary need type of Autism.
