Site Team Member required

SAT support staff scale Band 3 - £17,497 FTE (£9,458 pro rata)

20 hours per week

52 weeks per year

Predominately evenings and weekends

Start Date: September 2020 or as soon as possible after that

We are looking to appoint a new member to our Site Team who will support in the running of our sports centre.

The successful applicant will undertake a variety of duties, including locking and unlocking for lettings, as well as general maintenance tasks.

We are looking for an energetic, committed and responsible individual who can work to deadlines. Some aspects of the role will involve lone working.

The work of our Site Team is highly valued by the leadership team, as it is integral to the good reputation and ongoing success of our school.

The Sittingbourne School is a large, oversubscribed school built on a strong sense of community, making us a warm and very special place to be part of.  Our staff work tirelessly to ensure the wellbeing and happiness of every child. This was reflected in our March 2023 Ofsted inspection report that states how, “Staff have high aspirations for what all pupils can learn and achieve. This level of ambition is evident throughout the school”. They also commented on how, “Pupils are proud of how tolerant and supportive their school is” and that, “The vast majority of pupils behave well in school”. The school was graded as “Good” for the third successive inspection.
