Sturry CE Primary School are looking to recruit an Intervention Teaching Assistant join our team in September 2020. 

30hrs a week/43 paid weeks (term time + 5 weeks holiday)

Pro rata'd salary (30hrs @ 43.7 paid weeks) will be approximately: £12,250.00 gross.

This role is temporary with a review date of 31st December 2020.

As an intervention TA, you would be working with either individual children or with small groups of children to provide additional academic and social & emotional support, as well as support with reading, writing and mathematics. A knowledge of intervention programmes is an advantage, but not essential.

The ideal candidate will be committed to working in an inclusive framework, working closely with class teachers and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator.
