At Seal we feel we matter and are valued. Together we achieve and succeed.

We believe that learning should be a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all. We have developed an exciting, new and irresistible curriculum which promotes independence through purposeful learning experiences.

Over the last two years, we have been developing our Nurture Provision at Seal and now have an established Nurture Group running every morning and afternoon. Due to the success of our current groups, we are looking to extend our Nurture offer to an all-day provision in a newly refurbished , purpose built unit comprising, home room, kitchen, senory room, meeting room and toilet facilities. This is situated adjacent to our forest school and new school farm.

We have an exciting opportunity for an HLTA to join our team and run the Nurture Provision under the guidance and support of the Inclusion Manager and other members of the SLT. Experience of running a Nurture Group and Nuture practitioner qualification is desirable; recent experience of supporting pupils social, emotional and mental health needs is vital.

Responsibilities will include; interpreting Boxall Profiles and setting targets for Nurture children, planning and delivering the Nurture and National Curriculum, liaising with parents/carers and class teachers and monitoring and tracking the progress of the Nurture children. Planning, preparation and assessment time will be provided.

This position is due to start from September  2020 but for right candidate this could be flexible. Hours are 8:30 to 3:30 Monday to Friday and the position is paid at KR5. Inorder to build communication between the Nuture manager and the Federation team we would encourage the successful candidate to attend professional development meetings on a Wednesday evening, 3:30 - 4:30pm this would be paid in addition.

In return, we offer a commitment to your professional development and a supportive and friendly team that work together towards the bright future of our amazing school.
