We look forward to welcoming applications for a key role within the Technology Department. This person will be working in a Technician and Teaching Assistant role alongside teaching staff.

The Technician’s duties will include preparing materials, setting up classrooms for practical lessons, tidying and cleaning, maintaining equipment and ordering stock. The successful candidate will be expected to shop for food, manage a budget and assist in the cleaning and preparation of food technology rooms. Experience of food technology, resistant materials and/or engineering would be an advantage.

The successful candidate should be able to work both independently and within a team. We are looking for someone who has a pragmatic approach and enjoys working with children. In return, we offer the opportunity to be a valued member of a dynamic and exciting team.

The Sittingbourne School is a large, oversubscribed school built on a strong sense of community, making us a warm and very special place to be part of.  Our staff work tirelessly to ensure the wellbeing and happiness of every child. The school was graded as “Good” for the third successive inspection.
