We are looking to appoint a hardworking, skilled, dependable and self-motivated individual to join our vibrant team. We require someone who will contribute to the smooth running of the school by organising and undertaking the caretaking, maintenance and security of the school site and its equipment, as well as being involved in grounds maintenance. The successful candidate will have caretaking or general maintenance skills, a knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and procedures, and a good sense of humour.

The hours of work are 37 hours per week.  Our current Caretaker works a split shift (Mon-Thurs 0630hrs-1030hrs, 1430hrs-1800hrs, Fri 0630hrs-1000hrs, 1430hrs-1800hrs) but this may be open to discussion. A willingness to attend call-outs outside of normal working hours is a requirement of this role. The successful candidate will also need to be pro-active and flexible in their approach, energetic and a good communicator.
